1.Overview

WeTakeIt (a Habezion Group Company) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

2.Sharing Your Information With Contractors — Read This First

This is the most important part of this policy, so it is near the top rather than buried at the bottom. WeTakeIt is a referral service. When you submit a request, we share the details you gave us with independent third-party hauling contractors who serve your area, so that they can contact you about your job. That sharing is the entire function of the service.

What we share with contractors: your name, phone number, email address, the job address, and your description of the work (including any photos you attach).

How many contractors: normally more than one, so you can compare quotes. Contractors who receive your request may call, text or email you about it.

What contractors are required to do: use your details only to quote and perform your job, and not to resell, redistribute or use them to market unrelated products or services to you. We remove contractors who breach this.

What we do not do: we do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers, data brokers or lead aggregators.

If you would rather not have your details shared with contractors, please do not submit a request — call us instead and we can talk through your options.

3.Information We Collect

Information you give us directly: your name, email address, phone number, service address, business name where applicable, and the details and photos describing the job you need done.

Account information: if you create an account, your login credentials and role (customer, contractor, fleet owner, commercial account).

Contractor information: for partners, business registration details, insurance certificates, licence details, vehicle information and subscription billing details.

Technical and usage data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and referring source, collected through analytics so we can understand which parts of the site are useful.

4.How We Use Information

To pass your request to contractors in your area, which is the core purpose of the service.

To send you confirmation and status messages about your request by email and, where you consented, SMS.

To operate your account, provide support, investigate complaints about a contractor, and prevent fraudulent or duplicate requests.

To measure and improve the site in aggregate. We do not use your job details to build advertising profiles.

5.SMS / Text Messaging

If you provide a mobile number, we use it to send transactional SMS updates about your request — such as request confirmations, contractor-match alerts and status updates. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for assistance.

Mobile information and SMS opt-in data are never sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.

6.Analytics and Cookies

We use secure session cookies to keep you signed in and to operate core functionality; these are essential to providing the service.

We also use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns — which pages people visit and where they arrived from. This does not identify you personally to us, and you can block it with standard browser or extension controls without losing site functionality.

7.Payments

We do not collect payment for hauling work, so we never see or store your card details for a job. You pay your contractor directly using whatever method they accept.

Contractor subscription payments are processed by our payment processor, Stripe. Card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored on our systems.

8.Data Security

We protect data with role-based access control and database row-level security, so each user can only reach records they are authorised to see. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by our infrastructure providers. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit internal access to the minimum needed to operate the service.

9.Service Providers

We rely on a small number of processors to run the service: Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (contractor subscription payments), SendGrid (email) and Twilio (SMS). Each receives only the data needed for its function and is bound by its own contractual obligations.

10.Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may ask us to stop contacting you. Texas residents may also request disclosure of the categories of personal data we have shared. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable period.

Note that once your details have been shared with a contractor, that contractor holds their own copy. We can tell you which contractors received your request so you can contact them directly.

11.Retention

We retain request records for as long as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes about a job, and meet legal, accounting and reporting obligations. Account data is retained while your account is open and for a reasonable period afterwards.

12.Children

This service is intended for adults arranging work on property they own or manage. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

13.Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above.
