Why Contractors Join

A lead source that isn't working against you

Keep 100% of the job

We never take a commission, a percentage or a cut. You quote the customer, you invoice the customer, you keep all of it.

Flat monthly fee

One predictable subscription instead of paying per lead. A busy month costs you exactly the same as a slow one.

Local work only

Jobs across 13 DFW cities. Home every night — no lanes, no logbook, no living out of a cab.

Requests straight to your phone

New job requests in your area arrive by text and email with the customer's details. You call whichever ones you want.

What You'll Need

Requirements

  • A pickup, trailer, box truck or dump truck you can legally operate
  • Current commercial general liability insurance
  • A registered business entity and a valid driver licence
  • Ability to legally dispose of what you haul at a licensed facility
  • A phone you answer — this is the single biggest factor in winning work
What You Don't Need

Lower bar than you think

No CDL needed

A commercial driver licence only comes into play above 26,001 lbs. Nearly every job we refer is well under that, so a pickup with a trailer is plenty.

No TxDMV number for most

Texas requires a TxDMV number for vehicles over 26,000 lbs GVWR, placardable hazmat and household goods. Standard junk and debris hauling under that weight generally falls outside it — but confirm your own situation.

No fleet required

One truck is a perfectly good start. Plenty of the best contractors in this market are a single owner-operator with a trailer.

No exclusivity

Keep your own customers, keep your other lead sources, work for whoever you like. We are one channel, not a contract on your business.

This is general information, not legal advice. You are responsible for confirming which registrations and licences apply to your vehicles and the work you accept.

FAQ

Contractor questions

Am I an employee?
No. You are an independent contractor running your own business. We do not dispatch you, set your schedule, set your prices, or tell you which jobs to take. You decide what to accept and what to charge.
How do I get paid?
Directly by the customer, at your price, using whatever method you accept. WeTakeIt does not process, hold or route payment for your work, and does not take a percentage of it.
Do I need a CDL?
For the work we refer, generally no. A commercial driver licence is required for vehicles or combinations rated above 26,001 lbs. Local junk removal, debris hauling and single-item work sits below that in almost every case. You are responsible for confirming what applies to your specific vehicle and load.
How many requests will I get?
It depends on your service areas and the season, and we deliberately do not promise a number — anyone who guarantees you volume up front is selling you something. What we can tell you is that the fee is flat, so you are never paying more per lead when things get busy.
What kind of jobs are they?
Junk removal, furniture and appliance haul-away, garage and property cleanouts, yard and storm debris, construction debris, dump runs, jobsite material pickups and single-item deliveries. Local, same-day and next-day work.
What jobs will I not be sent?
Household goods moves, anything crossing a state line, towing, and hazardous or regulated waste. We do not refer those at all.
Can I cancel?
Any time, effective at the end of your current billing month. There is no term commitment and no cancellation fee.
